Craig Smith

Born Newcastle Upon Tyne; admitted to Supreme Court of England and Wales 1997; California Bar (2012); Nevada Bar (2014); Us District Court for the District of Nevada (2016).

Education: University of Northumbria at Newcastle (LLB. Hons, Law 1994); University of Northumbria at Newcastle (Diploma Legal Practice, 1995).

Mr. Smith joined Laxalt & Nomura in 2022 after working as inhouse litigation counsel for a private equity firm, and prior employment with a leading Reno litigation firm. His international career has seen him engaged in high profile civil and criminal litigation, representing and advising numerous individuals and entities. He has litigated a wide range of cases, including those involving business disputes between directors, contractual disputes, securities related litigation, personal injury matters, trucking, hotel and casino security, UCC financing disputes, construction defect, and the defense of State entities in constitutional law claims.

Mr. Smith is an avid soccer fan, professional snowboard trainer, and father to passionate skateboarders.
